Wig Density Explained

Are you on the quest for a wig that not only looks natural but feels light as well? At Goldylost, we believe a great wig must be stylish, comfy, and look natural. One key aspect of this is wig density, which plays a big role in how a wig feels, looks, and styles..

Understanding Wig Density:

Wig density refers to how much hair is sewn into the wig cap. This affects how full or natural the wig appears. At Goldylost, we design wigs with density options ranging from light, for a natural and breathable look, to medium density that offer more volume. Your choice of density impacts the wig’s appearance and how it feels to wear and style.

When you examine a small section of a wig from Goldylost, you’re looking at the precise and careful distribution of hair that determines its overall thickness and flow.

Low, Medium, and High Densities: What’s Right for You?

Low-density wigs are lightweight and ideal for a natural look. They’re particularly loved by women who prefer subtlety and comfort. Medium-density wigs strike a balance, offering enough fullness for versatile styling without being too heavy. High-density wigs are intended to create bold and glamorous looks.

Why We Love Natural Density

Our natural density wigs are light and realistic. They are designed to mimic the natural fall and movement of your own hair. They are ideal for those who want a lightweight, easy-to-wear wig. The bulk of some wigs can feel overwhelming and too warm.

These wigs are perfect for a beautiful, natural look. They create a real-looking hairline. If you have found most wigs have “too much” hair for you,  a Goldylost wig  may be the solution you need.

  1. Difference between low density and natural density wigs please. Does your toppers have low density or natural density options.
I want a straight wig or topper

    1. The density is the amount of hair sewn in to the wig cap. Our low density wigs have less hair, than the medium density. The toppers have different cap constructions, for a lower density topper I would recommend the lace topper. All of the wigs and toppers can be styled straight.
