For you to understand which modalities are covered and how this whole process works.
DUTIES AND TAXES:
GoldyLost is located in Sydney, Australia.
All prices are shown exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). This will be calculated at checkout and must be paid by all Australian buyers. For International buyers, you may be required to pay inbound duties or taxes before you can receive your delivery. The amount depends on your local customs and is a percentage of the total amount paid for the item. Please check if you are required to pay any duties or taxes before making purchase. All taxes are not paid to GoldyLost and are non-refundable in case of return/exchange.
Failure to pay inbound taxes/duties will result in your package being returned to GoldyLost Hair. This will be classified as a Return and will incur a $195 restock fee which will be deducted from your refund.
RETURNS and REFUNDS:
We want you to love your GoldyLost Hair, so please ask questions before making purchase if you are unsure about anything. Sometimes a hair piece needs some customisation for you to love it, and by making some adjustments you may avoid the need for a return. We recommend watching “How to” videos on making a piece perfect for you or taking it to your local salon for adjustments.
If for some reason the item is unsuitable, we accept returns on all STOCK pieces under the following conditions:
- All returns must be shipped back within 48 hours of signing for the package. After this time frame the sale is final. Once item has been shipped, delivery times for returns will be allowed based on your location and return method.
- All returns will incur a $195 restock fee which will be deducted from your refund.
- All cancelations made before item has been shipped will incur a flat restock fee of $95 which will be deducted from your refund.
- We DO NOT accept returns on IN STORE PURCHASES, SALE ITEMS and CUSTOM ORDERS which are sold as Final Sale.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
- A custom order is any piece that has been ordered or created specifically for you. This includes:
- Stock pieces with alterations requested by you, such as lace cut, length cut, colour added.
- Stock pieces which have sold out, being ordered and recreated for you.
- Stock pieces being ordered and created for you in different cap size, length, colour.
- Custom order where you have provided hair inspiration pictures and had a piece created.
To return an item please email contact@goldylost.com to notify us of the return and ensure you follow the Return Terms and Conditions.
Return Terms and Conditions:
- All items must be shipped by courier or registered post with tracking and signature on delivery. We highly recommend also purchasing insurance in case of loss or damage. GoldyLost Hair is not responsible for items not received.
- For International returns you must state on the Customs Declaration Form “Returned Good” to retailer. Failing to do so may incur Taxes/Duties charges which will be deducted from your refund.
- Any Duties/Taxes charged will be deducted from your refund.
- Shipping costs, credit card charges and any other fees are non-refundable.
- Items may be tried on for suitability purposes only. The item must not be altered in any way including using heat tools, cutting lace or washing. The item must remain odour free and in its original condition.
- Items must be in the original packaging, with all tags attached and all clips closed (where applicable)
- Refund will be issued to the same payment method that was used to purchase the item.
We check tracking information for date item was delivered and inspect items condition thoroughly on return. Your return may not be accepted if you fail to meet the above criteria and item will be returned to you at your expense.
All of our wigs and toppers have been hand made and custom coloured. They are checked extensively through out the process, and before shipping for quality. Please inspect the item thoroughly once you receive, before making any alterations such as cutting the lace, and contact us if you believe the item is faulty. We can not accept claims of fault on items that have been altered in any way. If your item is faulty, GoldyLost will offer a repair or replacement. If the item is unable to be repaired or replaced a full refund will be given.
